Trailer Tuesdays!

RYAN: Summer blockbuster season is in full swing as "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" hits theaters tomorrow.

CAROLINE: I couldn't begin to care even a little about this movie. I didn't see the first one, but I heard horrible things about it. And it was two and a half hours long! I don't have time for that unless it's a truly great movie.

RYAN: I love big summer blockbusters! I enjoy the spectacle of it all, so I could get excited for this one.

CAROLINE: I do like Shia LeBeouf, but Megan Fox is already overexposed. I still don't understand if this movie even has a plot, or if it's just all special effects.

RYAN: I know Megan Fox is gorgeous, but it's like, "Honey, you've made two movies. Why are you as famous as you are?"

CAROLINE: Because she's so hot. The end.

RYAN: [laughs] I'm sure. The trailer looks OK; I wouldn't say I'm super psyched for this movie, but I'm excited for the blockbuster-ness of it all. Check out the trailer here:

CAROLINE: Next up is "My Sister's Keeper" starring Cameron Diaz and two little girls, one of whom was supposed to be Dakota Fanning; but she dropped out of the film because she didn't want to shave her head.

RYAN: It would have been the first time Dakota Fanning and Abigail Breslin, arguably the biggest child stars out there, co-starred in a movie.

CAROLINE: But now it's Abigail Breslin and the girl who plays the oldest daughter on TV's "Medium."

RYAN: Which no one watches.

CAROLINE: I watch it, and I really like her. I think she'll be great in the role, and she was willing to shave her head, so get over yourself Dakota. I read the book this movie is based on years ago, and though I don't remember much, I can tell you it's a weeper. It's like "Irreconcilable Differences" meets "Terms of Endearment."

RYAN: I'm only interested in this movie because of Cameron Diaz. Otherwise, I couldn't really care less.

CAROLINE: I think it's interesting that she's playing a mom. That's not a role we're used to seeing her play. And I'm kind of glad she's doing a mom role, because as I said last year, she's getting a little long in the tooth to play the romantic lead in movies like "What Happens in Vegas."

RYAN: Ouch. But yes, it's true. Here's the trailer:

I am so excited about both of the movies this week. I will admit that I am more excited about "My Sister's Keeper" Only because it is one of my favorite books. I was crying like a little baby while reading it and I am hoping and praying that the actors, writers and director pulls it off with this movie.
