RYAN: Well, if this isn't a sign that the folk have missed the Bullock in the rom com genre, I don't know what is!
CAROLINE: Go Sandy! She's having the best weekend ever.
RYAN: You know, I don't know why we're all so afraid to say it but I like her in romantic comedies.CAROLINE: Who's afraid to say it? I think she just made a big stink about the fact she wasn't doing them anymore; but maybe this weekend's B.O. will send a stiff message to her.
RYAN: It's good for Ryan Reynolds too. He doesn't always have to be in Wolverine shape to open a movie.
CAROLINE: [laughs] Honey, he is still in Wolverine shape in this movie. There were some who had hoped "The Hangover" might be #1 again, but to make $153 million in 3 weeks is a rather handsome feat.
RYAN: I can't believe "Year One" didn't even hit number 3. At least "Land of the Lost" opened at 3 when it came out a few weeks earlier.
CAROLINE: Well it's an even worse movie. I wouldn't have even put it in the top ten.
RYAN: The studio's def feeling it where it counts - big time.
CAROLINE: There's been such crappy weather in much of the country one always thinks it will usher more fans out to movies.
RYAN: Well decent weather or not, next weekend's "Transformers" will def perk things up even more.
